Important Security Alert--Someone is Impersonating Me

Hi everyone,

I need to alert you to a scam attempt targeting subscribers.

Someone has been impersonating me and attempting to contact subscribers via WhatsApp. At least one reader has reported receiving a suspicious follow notification from my account (which I did not send), followed by messages on WhatsApp from someone claiming to be me.

Please know:

• I do NOT use WhatsApp to communicate with subscribers. I don’t even have an account.

• I will NEVER ask you for money, investments, or personal information

• My only official communications are through this Substack newsletter and my email address: AutomatedTradingStrategies@protonmail.com

If you've been contacted:

• Please forward me any suspicious messages or screenshots immediately

• Report the WhatsApp account as impersonation

• Do not engage with or send anything to the scammer

Please let me know by replying to this email—your information will help me address this with Substack support and protect other readers.

I've already added additional security to my account and am working with Substack to investigate this issue.
