Happy Thanksgiving

Hey everyone,

When I started this Substack over three years ago, I wasn’t sure where it would go. What I’ve found is a community of curious, serious people who want to understand the markets at a deeper level. That’s rare, and I don’t take it for granted.

Building trading systems is mostly a solitary pursuit. We’ve all spent late nights debugging, staring at equity curves, questioning everything, but knowing there are folks out there working through similar challenges makes it feel less like shouting into the void.

So today I want to take a moment to say thanks. To those of you who’ve been following along, reading the posts, asking questions, and sharing your own experiences with automated trading —I appreciate you more than words can say.

However you’re spending today —around a table, out in the quiet, or just taking a break from the screens — I hope it’s restful.
